I married Ed Schroer on March 31st, 2007!  To see some photos of the event, click here.

 

Grant Edward Schroer was born on February 7th, 2008 at 11:04 a.m.  He weighed 7 lbs. 15.6 oz. and was 19 1/4" long.

My sister Amy and I own and operate Mielke's Fiber Arts, LLC.  I designed and maintain this website, with the exception of Amy's Page, which she maintains for herself.  Besides the day-to-day operations of the business, I also teach fiber arts classes and workshops.  I have taught at the Wisconsin Spin In; Wisconsin Sheep and Wool Festival; "fiber thing" in Shawano, WI; Michigan Fiber Festival; Stephenson County Fiber Art Fair in IL; Shepherd's Harvest in MN; New York Sheep and Wool Festival; MAFA Conference, and Spin Off Autumn Retreat (SOAR).  Amy and I have also taught or performed lectures/demos at various guild meetings and historical re-enactments.
