Spinning
Cotton on the Charkha, avideo produced by New World
Textiles, has just been released, and is available in VHS or DVD
for $34.95!
The
video is a comprehensive hands-on workshop including material from Eileen
Hallman's Charkha
101* and Charkha 201** classes. While the Indian book charkha is used in the video,
the techniques are appropriate for any spindle wheel, including the great wheel.
Eileen demonstrates teaching techniques that she has developed over the 6 years
