Where can I find a circular sock knitting machine? To answer some frequently asked questions:
Do you have circular sock machines for sale? No, we do not currently have any machines for sale.
Where can I find used circular sock knitting machines? I know of three options:
How much do CSMs cost? It varies greatly, and is always a "buyer beware" sort of thing, because some machines just are not repairable. A good rule of thumb is to not pay more than you are willing to lose if the machine can not be fixed and you end up with a fancy "doorstop" or "boat anchor."
Are there parts available for circular knitting machines? To some degree, yes; to some degree, no. If you can find another machine of the same make, you may be able to salvage parts. There are some sources for new needles, again, for certain makes and models. Sometimes you can find a machinist who will fabricate a part for you, if you are willing to pay for it.
