Dyeing Miscellany

Bottles

Polyethylene plastic bottles, with screw on spouts with cap.  Spout tips can be snipped to any size opening.  Excellent for storing and dispensing a wide variety of products:  paints, dyes, resists, etc.

Auxiliaries

Ammonium Sulfate, in granular form.  No odor.  For light to medium shades only. 1 lb.

Synthrapol, wetting agent for protein fibers, used to wash out excess dye in vegetable fibers in final rinse.  Improves evenness of color. 16 oz.
