Links to Free Bobbin Lace Patterns We noticed quite a few folks coming here looking for free bobbin lace patterns. We don't have any of our own, but here are some websites that do. As we find more, we will add them. If you know of any that are not listed here, .
Blen is short for "Bobbin lace European Network". It took me a while to learn how to figure out how to navigate this site, and some of it is in different languages, but it has a lot of information for the lace maker. On the Training-Online Page, you can pick one of the four kinds of lace listed under the title of the the page, and these will take you to pages with information on lacing and some free patterns. Kloeppelshop This site is entirely in German, but it is pretty easy to pick out the word "Download", which will take you to the patterns. The Lace Guild has extracts in pdf format of some of the books they sell, and some of the extracts have prickings. Go to the Guild Publications page to find the links to the extracts. The Lacemakers Circle offers a free pricking - click on the word Pattern on the left side of their home page. Steph Peters Bobbin Lace Page From her page, you can find grids for bobbin lace, or, if you prefer, a downloadable grid program. Also free prickings (I saw at least two for spiders - a Christmas Spider designed by Jacky McDoual and a Honiton Spider designed by Jacqui Southworth).
