Felted Flower Kits
Create incredible, one-of-a-kind, wet-felt flowers with these easy to follow, step-by-step instructions. There are large photos that take you through each step of the process, so you know you'll have success with the first attempt. First time wet felters will take about an hour to make one flower.

Wear the flowers by adding a pin back, add them to your felted bags and hats, give as gifts, add them to your knits. No matter how many I make, I never get tired of creating or using these beauties.

Included in this uniquely created kit are detailed instructions, one ounce of green merino for the leaves of your flowers and one ounce of hand dyed 50/50 merino silk. Hand dyeing the fibers ensures that no two will be exactly alike, but all will be simply stunning.  Makes 10 - 12 flowers.

Introduction to Feltmaking Kit

Learn how to felt, and make a wool hat or slippers!  This introductory kit includes wool roving in natural and dyed colors (enough to make an adult size hat or pair of slippers), wool yarn, plastic mesh for patterns, soap, a tapestry needle, the book Felting By Hand, and a small washboard.  Recommended for ages 13 and up.

FeltCrafts Felt Animal Kit: Kittens
One of our most popular kits, these playful kittens will warm your heart! Make the felt for the kittens' bodies then sew or glue the pieces together. Stitch eyes and whiskers with a sewing thread and needle or paint them on with gel pen or fine point permanent markers. The kit makes three adorable kittens, white, black and orange.  For ages 10+.

Harrisville Felt Hat Kit

The Felted Hat Kit

Adults and children of all ages love this kit!  You can reuse the ball and try using different colors of fleece for a completely different look!  Whether you make them funky, funny, or fashionable, the art of feltmaking will come alive with this hands-on kit.

Here's how it works:  Decorate the ball with nubs and roving.  Cover it with 3 layers of fleece.  Slip a pantyhose top over the whole thing.  Soak in hot soapy water and bounce for 5 minutes.  Take the felt off the ball.  Roll it and shape it into a hat.  It's a blast!  Let dry, and then wear it with pride.
