We carry 3 different types of heddles: standard flat steel heddles, inserted eye
heddles, and texsolv heddles (shown below). The flat steel heddles
and inserted eye heddles will fit any Schacht harness loom. Texsolv
heddles come in different lengths to accommodate the Schacht harness looms,
Schacht Cranbrook Countermarche Looms, and Bexell and Norwood manufactured
Cranbrook looms. Please consult the table below for the appropriate
heddle size.
Flat steel heddles are our standard heddle - suitable for all but the thickest yarns, compact and easy to use. *******************************************************
Inserted eye heddles are wire heddles with a round inserted eye. They are excellent for larger, textured yarns or fine delicate yarns. *******************************************************
Texsolv heddles are lighter and more quieter than the Flat Steel or wire heddles, but are slower to thread. NOTE: We can only order in the Brown, Green and Blue. The other sizes are listed for reference purposes only.
