Robin Ricard Hand-painted Spindle 6-1/2" long, 1-12" whorl. 12 grams, pig-tail type hook.
Two ladybugs are painted on the reverse side of the whorl along with the
flowers.
The shaft/hook was re-glued. Needs a little TLC to clean off a sticky spot

Handknit in bright red wool yarn. Knit extra long, so it can be folded up
twice for extra warmth around the ears. Adult size. Washing
instructions: Handwash in lukewarm water, rinse in plenty of clear water,

Gauge Designed for cross stitch, but can also be used to measure knitting

Gently used trade-in. Includes everything shown plus the original
instructional pamphlet (pamphlet does have stain on back page). Built by
Bev and Paul Pirtle of Huntington Beach, CA. The story I was given was
that there were only 200 of these wheels made (circa 70's - 80's). Just
about everything is wood - the sliding hook flyer, the orifice, even the pegs
holding the wheel together. The drive band and brake band are
leather. The bobbin is huge (10 1/4" x 5") - great for spinning
bulky or novelty yarns. It will hold a lot of yarn! The orifice and
hooks measure 1 inch across. Overall height of the wheel is 30"
(though the flyer can stick up an extra 3 1/2"). 22" wide and
12" deep. $275.00
