Description
NETTING TO HOLD YOUR HAIR AND OTHER THINGS, Rita Bartholomew.
There are two ways to tie the basic netting knot. This book teaches only the method that works well with the finer threads used in making lace; what Rita calls the Lacemaker Knot.
After learning the basic knot, the easiest way to practice it is by creating squares, rectangles, and circles with diamond-shape meshes, as described in the chapter, DIAMOND MESH NETTING. CIRCULAR NETTING is used to create circles, squares and rectangles from the inside out – the center being formed first. The hair covering and bag patterns in this book use these two types of netting.
Also covers attaching beads to netting.
Full instructions plus 12 patterns are included in this self-published book. 64 pages, 8.5″ x 11″ spiral bound.
