The metal shaft that goes holds the wheel onto the uprights, and attaches to the con rod. 7″ long, black coated metal.
If you have an older wheel, with the hub pin in the very center of the hub, please order the old style crank.
The new style crank has one hole, and this lines up with the hub pin on the side of the wheel hub.
You can buy the hub pins here: Ashford Tension pin/Hub pin
Note, if you have a VERY old wheel, you need a whole new crank/conrod set up. Ashford no longer makes a crank to replace the oldest style, since it was an inferior design. We offer the Clunky Wheel Kit to fix up a VERY old wheel (see last picture for what the crank looks like). PDF of Instructions
You will also need a 4.1mm or 0.16″ drill bit.
