The Fiber Artist’s Bag of Candy contains 100% wool roving. This wool roving assortment is washed, dyed, carded and ready to felt or spin. Great fiber for a beginner spinner, perfect for needle felting, and ideal for wet felting sturdy items. The fiber is from our Dyed Corriedale Roving so you can easily get more of any color you fall in love with.
You don’t always need a lot of every color, for some projects you need a little bit of many colors. This is the perfect “box of crayons” for your next spinning or felting project. We call it a “Bag of Candy for the Fiber Artist” since that’s what it feels like to us!
This assortment is popular with teachers for classes or workshops. Great for Scout or 4-h groups who are doing felting, spinning or carding projects.
Each color is approximately 14″ long, so you have a lot of each color to “paint” your felting dreams or blend into your inspired yarn.
Individual colors are not labeled.

I love the “Bags of Candy!” I needle felt puppets, using plain wool for the base, then finishing them with dyed wool. Having a selection of colors on hand is so useful. I also teach needle felting classes and am always sure to get a fresh bag for a class so there are lots of colors for participants to select. It is surprising how far it goes!
