A lovely luxury fiber for felting and spinning.  Ideal for lacy, lightweight semi-worsted yarns for knitting or weaving.  Perfect for felting into fine, flowing fabrics.

Description

This luscious top is blended from 70% Merino, 30 Tussah Silk.

This dyed fiber blend is a perfect ratio of wool to silk for a spinner’s first introduction to spinning with silk. The blend is also great for felting, such as Nuno Felt.

The merino in this blend is 21.5 microns, with a 2.75″ staple length. The silk is bleached Tussah.

Sold in 4 ounce balls, soft and lustrous fiber is hard to pass up!

PLEASE NOTE:  Each run, or carding lot, is much like a “dye lot” in yarns.  The colors can vary from lot to lot; so be sure to order enough for your project.
