Plastic Boat Shuttle Weaving Bobbins from Schacht Spindle Co. are designed specifically to fit the Schacht Boat Shuttles, but can also fit other shuttles – see measurements below.

These plastic bobbins from Schacht are available in three sizes. The 4″ bobbins fit the 9″ mini, the 11″ shuttles, and both double-bobbin boat shuttles; the 5″ bobbins fit the 13″ shuttles; and the 6″ bobbins fit the 15″ shuttles.

The bobbins have specially designed flanged ends for trouble-free release of yarn.

Bobbins come in packs of ten. Choose your size when you add them to your cart.

Bobbin Measurements:

All bobbins are approximately 1″ in diameter at the widest point, and have a 5/16″ opening in the center.

4″ measures 3-5/8″ between flanges, and is a total of 4.5″ long.
5″ measures 5″ between flanges and is a total of 5-5/8″ long.
6″ measures 5-5/8″ between flanges and is a total of 6-3/4″ long.
