Description

Beautifully crafted, the Schacht-Reeves saxony wheel captures an enduring sense of history with state-of-the-art woodworking techniques. Designed in conjunction with Rick and Marge Reeves, the wheel incorporates traditional design in a wheel that’s a superb spinner. Available with both Scotch tension and double drive modes. The drive wheel has a 30″ diameter.

The Schacht-Reeves Saxony wheel is available in, as a double or single treadle, and in ash or cherry.

Flyer on the left is standard; right-mounted flyer is available by special request.

Hand-Rubbed Danish Oil Finish.

Each wheel comes with:

  • 3 Bobbins
  • 2 Whorls
  • Lazy Kate
  • Threading Hook

The included lazy kate is a traditional kate with turned posts to complement the style of the Schacht-Reeves wheel.
