4 Styles of Tapestry Beaters from Schacht.

Four styles of tapestry beaters: single-ended, double-ended, and a weighted single-ended. All are made of hard maple and have a smooth Danish oil finish. The wooden teeth are set at five per inch.

The double ended beater is 6″ long, 1.5″ wide and 3/4 of an inch thick.

The single ended beater is 8″ long, and the beater teeth are 1.5″ wide.

The weighted beater has 5 ounces of lead inserted into the end to provide more impact for tighter weaving. It is 8.5″ long with the teeth area 2.5″ wide and 1.25″ thick.

New, the Duet Tapestry beater is a wooden handle and body with a metal interchangeable comb. Switch between the included 8 and 12 end per each beater teeth spacing with this great new option! Wooden handle/body measures 7.5″ long. When measured with the comb total measurement is 8.5″. Weight is right around 2.5 oz. Comb is 1 3/8″ wide.
