The approximately 27″ long 4 sided (3/4″ by 3/8″) maple wood bar for Schacht floor looms. Attaches to the front and back beam by apron cords or apron cloth (not included).

Double back beams facilitate different warp tensions needed for such weaves as pique, supplementary warp, or seersucker. Installation is straightforward. Double back beams may be added at any time. They have a separate brake.
